This new major interchange station for the Kwun Tong Extension and new Shatin-Central lines was awarded to Nishimatsu for a Contract sum of almost HK$3B. The 1001 project also involves construction of a tunnel from the new station to the existing Yau Mau Tei station.

Vector was appointed by Nishimatsu to carry out post-contract services to measure the extensive changes under EI 001, including civil / structure works, ABWF and external works.
