This project forms part of the overall new MTRC Shatin to Central underground railway line. The value is HK$5.24B and comprises the permanent and temporary works for Hung Hom Station, Hung Hom Stabling Sidings, the South and North Approach Tunnels to the new platforms, and re-provisioning, remedial and improvement works. Vector was appointed post-contract to undertake large-scale measurement of original contract drawings and numerous variations.
