This project forms part of the overall new MTRC Shatin to Central underground railway line. The value is HK$5.86B and it comprises the construction of the new underground Exhibition Station structural box. The detailed scope of works includes a 300m long cut and cover tunnel, ventilation building and a cut and cover railway station. Vector was appointed at tender stage to undertake quantity checking of major structural elements. Vector later built a 3D model of the concrete box structure for comparison and demonstration purposes.
